My story

Rori was removed from her home by a humane agent due to living conditions not being adequate. She was full of worms and earmites. She is a loving girl but can be timid at first until she has time to warm up. She has come a long way since she first came to us. She was skin and bone due to the worms, weighing in at 5lbs with a belly full of worms. Her belly was such a mess that she would cry and growl if you touched her at all. Once we got those all cleared up for her she started to let us pet her and hold her. She will still let you know when she has had enough attention. We believe she would do best in a home with no other cats. She started as a Christmas gift for the kids in her previous home, being the first and only cat they had until a move brought in another female cat that was living on the property. Unfortunately their home of 2 quickly turned into a home of 17 with more on the way. Luckily by some miracle, Rori herself never got pregnant. However, she seems to not like to be around other cats that were removed with her. We think its because the love she once felt diminished as the numbers grew and kittens took the affection of her previous owners. Plus then the living conditions went drastically down hill. We could be wrong but she seems to hiss at all the others and wants nothing to do with them or any of the kittens in our care.  ##2488696##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rori, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
