My story

This snuggly little mushroom is as sweet as her name! Chanterelle is a gentle, affectionate kitty who loves cozy naps, quiet cuddles, and following you from room to room like your purring shadow. She’s a pro at making biscuits, especially on soft blankets, and her favorite pastime is curling up in your lap. Chanterelle would thrive in a calm home where she can be the center of someone’s world but needs a kitty friend to share the zoomies with and have a good nap session with too!  If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love and purrs, Chanterelle is your girl! Chanterelle was born into rescue after her mom, Bella Donna, was transferred from Hopkins County Humane Society in the aftermath of severe weather which damaged their facility.   Finders Keepers Cat Rescue is a foster home-based rescue in Clarksville, TN, and our cats are in private foster homes in the Clarksville area. Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or have another cat already in the home. An adoption application is required to meet our kitties. Once your application is reviewed and upon approval, we will then provide the information to schedule a meet and greet with their foster.  We are a 100% volunteer run organization and have varying hours, as our volunteers work during the day, our goal is to process adoption applications within 24-72 hours, please be patient with us!
