My story

Meet our precious little puppies, Banjo(black/tan), Bella(black/reddish brown), and Blossom(fluffy puppy)! This trio of pure cuteness along with their mama, Bambi, came to us when their owner was deported to Mexico during an ICE raid. Sadly, a neighbor took them on when the family was deported, but his greediness kicked in and only held onto to the puppies who were about 5 weeks old at the time so he could sell them and gave the mom, Bambi, to another neighbor. The neighbor with Bambi couldn't hold onto her very long and reached out to us and we said we would take her. At the time, we did not know about the puppies. Once Bambi went into a foster home, we could tell something was wrong. She was anxious and whimpering and seemed to be constantly looking for something. She also looked like she was pregnant so we got her to the vet and she was not pregnant but still lactating. We put the pieces together and knew there were puppies somewhere. Thankfully, we were able to get a hold of the person who had her and he contacted the guy who had the very young puppies. He had not been able to sell them and surrendered them to us. The reunion between mama and babies was so emotional. She was so happy to see them! We put them together in a wonderful foster home and they are now ready to find their forever homes! Banjo, Bella, and Blossom are now about 3 months old and such sweet little puppies! We are looking for forever homes for each of them that has another young dog in the home or they could be adopted with one of their siblings. They need owners that are not gone long hours during the day and puppy savvy. Banjo, Bella, and Blossom are such sweet, happy, loving, and playful puppies that deserve the best forever homes out there! Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020 We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required. The puppies are vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Blossom, Bella, and Banjo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
