My story

Meet Soba, Socks, Sonnie and Sophie – Born May 21, 2025 Soba – The Social Love Bug A sweet brown tabby boy and a total love bug. He thrives on attention, follows his humans around, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He is super social and loves being around people. Whether it’s chasing toys, following you from room to room, or flopping over for belly rubs, he is happiest when he is part of the action. He will be your little shadow and your biggest fan, all wrapped up in a purring, playful kitten package. This adorable group of four tiny tabbies had a rough start in life. Their momma cat wandered into a kind person’s yard with her young kittens, but she couldn’t afford the vet care they needed. Thankfully, she reached out for help, and Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue stepped in to give this little family a chance at a healthy, happy future. We made sure Mom was healthy and free of deadly viruses. Once she was given a clean bill of health, we completed her spay surgery so she’ll never have to face the stress of another litter. Her kittens—still far too young for vaccines or spay/neuter—were placed in one of our sweetest foster homes to grow, socialize, and be loved around the clock. Other kitten from this litter. Socks – The Brave Social Butterfly. Sonnie – The Gentle Soul. Sophie – The Sweet Princess. Now they’re thriving, playful, and ready to start meeting their future families! These babies are still so young that they often curl up in one big kitten pile for naps. Because they’re growing up together and are so bonded, they’d love to be adopted in pairs so they can continue to play, snuggle, and comfort each other as they grow. All our adoptable cats are located at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a great way to find your perfect kitty. All of our cats and kittens are socialized and happy to interact with visitors, so you will meet them with their true personalities.
