Mango

My story

A volunteer writes:Mango is a quiet and well mannered dame who seems to have been well cared for and loved. She arrived at the care center with fourteen of her housemates as their owner passed away. At 12, she had to meet a new reality, get used to it and little by little blur her past to nothing anymore....Survival, resilience and hopefully happiness again....with a new family in a new home. This is the new story we would like to write for Mango, a very sweet lady who ended up in to our care. Mango is a bit shy but is never in hiding, accepts my petting after a little bit of pep talk, leans , head bunts my hand and purrs softly(see her VIDEO). I know she relishes all the love she can get. Mango is such a gentle soul. Seniors make great pets, loving, loyal and a huge source of warmth and comfort. Mango did very well on her behavior evaluation, is already spayed and could go home today...with you! Come and meet her very soon at the Manhattan Care Center.What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.
