My story

These comments came from the director at Detroit Animal Care and Control where we pulled Doug from. Evaluation Notes/Description: Grade 1 Laying patiently in his kennel. As soon as I opened the door he came straight to me. Easy to loop and walks very nicely on a leash. He saw a couple dogs outside and was non reactive. Loose, sniffed politely and moved on. He had fun running around and jumping around outside in the yard. When I went and sat in the chair he immediately came over and sat by my feet. Loves to be close for pets. Affectionate boy and gives kisses. He s treat motivated, sits and lays down, and takes them nicely. Not currently playing with toys. Loves to flip over for belly rubs. Did great with restraint, hugs, face and feet touching etc. Returned to kennel nicely These comments came from his current foster family.... He’s so well mannered. No food aggression. Gets along fine with my chiweenie. Walks perfect on a leash. Has yet to bark or growl.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Doug, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
