My story

Meet Hattie! Hattie is a sweet, snuggly little pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that shines. She’s the kind of girl who just wants to be near you—whether that means chasing toys in the yard or curling up by your feet for a cozy nap. Hattie is still a puppy, so she’s full of curiosity and boundless energy, but she’s also incredibly gentle and affectionate. Her favorite place in the world? Right next to you. She’ll follow you from room to room just to be close, always ready with a tail wag and those soulful puppy eyes. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will love you endlessly and bring joy to your every day, Hattie is your girl. She’s ready to find her forever home—could it be with you? I know my cute face is irresistible, but remember that I will take up lots of your time and attention while I grow into an awesome adult dog. Socialization, training (including house training), and exercise are just a few of the things I will look to you for. Chewing, teething, and learning what is Okay and not Okay to put in my mouth are all part of the puppy experience. And, be prepared for the time and money for frequent trips to the vet during the first few months so I can get up to date on my boosters and vaccines. But most of all, be prepared for all of the LOVE, puppy kisses, and joy I will bring into your life. All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
