My story

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie pop? None – because she’ll willingly give you her heart! Tootsie is the newest SNIPSA obsession. Our vet tech, Tami, spotted this gal on the callout at Animal Care Services on her flight back into Texas. She drove over right away and picked her up, because she was just too cute to leave behind! Tootsie had suffering from a tick infestation and had intestinal parasites at the time of her rescue – Her tiny body was getting sucked dry, and she was in dire need of some help. Now, after dewormers, several baths, and a couple of hearty meals, she is finding her “puppy” once again. Tootsie was lethargic and defeated, but she is now bursting with energy! She loves to play with the other dogs and cats in Tami’s care, snuggle in cozy beds, and roll around in the sun-soaked grass. She is already catching onto the concept of potty training, too, believe it or not! Tootsie has a bright spirit and an even brighter future ahead. Apply to meet her today!
