Rescued in Arkansas after being cruelly dumped alongside another dog, Gretchen has shown nothing but resilience, loyalty, and love. Despite her rough start, she’s incredibly gentle, affectionate, and eager to bond with people. Gretchen is the kind of dog who leans into your touch and finds comfort in simply being near you. She’s got that classic shepherd intelligence and loyalty, making her not only a loving companion but also a devoted protector. The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
