My story

Hi friends! McGee here! 🐕 I’m a bouncy 2-year-old Schnauzer mix who’s looking for an adventure buddy to call family! At 19 lbs of pure enthusiasm, I’m what you’d call an active boy! I LOVE being outside and would absolutely thrive with a fenced yard where I can run and explore to my heart’s content 🌳. I’m still working on my leash skills, but I’m eager to learn with my new family! I’m fantastic with other dogs and would do well with older, dog-savvy kids (13+). Not sure about cats yet - we haven’t been properly introduced! 🐱 Want to see my party trick? I’ll fetch squeaky toys and bring them right back to you! 🎾 And if you want to make me the happiest pup ever, just offer belly rubs - I’ll roll right over and show you my tummy! 🤤 I have good house manners and just want to be your shadow. Whether I’m sitting next to you or trying to squeeze into your lap, I want to be close to my favorite human 24/7! 💕 I’m super friendly and love meeting new people, but I do get a little nervous during thunderstorms ⛈️ and with sudden loud noises - I might need some extra cuddles during those times. 💕 I’m looking for a family who would love an active, affectionate companion.
