My story

Hi, future family! My name is Poppyseed, or Poppy for short. I am your typical lab puppy, playful, smart, and of course occasionally mischievous. It takes me a little while to warm up to new men, but once I get there I am as bold and confident as can be. I absolutely love playing with other dogs, and I even enjoy joining in trying to help with chores - even though I'm not always as helpful as I think I am. I'd love a family who has a friend for me to play with and loves to be active. I would love to run and play all day if you'd let me. I am incredibly smart and am picking up on basic training quite quickly. I am capable of entertaining myself with toys and bones if you are busy, too. I am crate trained and potty trained and do pretty well on leash. I have so much potential to be the one of the best dogs ever, I just need someone to take a chance on me and put in a little work teaching me some boundaries. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
