My story

Marvin is an energetic, playful, well-behaved boy, with the CUTEST ears. He is a great mix of independent and cuddly, and is very opinionated and vocal when he has set his preferences.  He has a  voracious  appetite for new toys and new foods. He is smart, spunky, and a very easy cat to take care of and love. He is generous with his purrs, affection, and attention. He prefers to spend most of his time around you, but entertains himself for hours. He loves cat-games you can download on your phone (life-saver during a meeting!) and loves to tumble with and sneak-attack his foster brother (a 12 year old male cat).  Marvin (like any of us) may be more anxious and protective of himself and his territory when there are lots of new people, animals, sounds, or smells but around, but he has stayed overnight at a few HALO foster homes and his foster grandma's house and adjusted very well.  Favorite food: wet food and freeze dried shrimp treats Favorite toys: orange round-about with ping pong balls, tunnels and tents, and things that he can chase on the floor. Favorite bed: Prefers lightweight items (not a fan of hot/cozy things) or a cardboard scratcher Grooming: Medium-tolerant of bathing and administering medications. Well-tolerant of wiping, nail-cutting, and brushing. A few things to watch for: Marvin may be a little too excited about meal-time (his, yours, or other pets).  Marvin will add a lot of laughs and energy to your home and your family. Please contact his HALO foster family today or come see us in Antioch at PFE next Saturday and Sunday!!! Please contact his foster at  pekhnasingh88@gmail.com  for further info.   Thank you for considering a rescued kitten!! HALO's cats and kittens can be seen at Pet Food Express in Antioch and Clayton.     Antioch hours are every Saturday and Sunday 10am-1:30pm (except the third Saturday of each month, there is no adoption event).   Clayton hours are every Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am-2:00pm.  Clayton store is located at 5404 Ygnacio Valley Rd.   Please check ahead to see which store the kitty you are interested in will be at.  Please bring your own carrier!     For further information, please email the foster, or contacthalo@yahoo.com.  To see more of our cats and dogs, go to http://www.eccchalo.org August 11, 2025, 5:09 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Marvin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
