My story

Meet POModoro: The Couch Tomato with a Heart of Gold POModoro is 10 years old, 7 lbs, and 100% sweet, smart, and slightly confused about his species. He’s a Pomeranian by breed, but a cat by lifestyle—perched on the back of the couch like a feline overlord, surveying his kingdom with quiet dignity and occasional sass. He came from a true house of horrors—used for breeding and kept in deplorable conditions alongside hundreds of other dogs. Years of neglect left him with a calcification on one eye that can’t be removed, but it doesn’t bother him one bit. He sees the world just fine—and what he sees now is love, safety, and the promise of a real home. Despite everything, POModoro is thriving. He’s gentle, affectionate, and great with kids, dogs, and cats (especially cats—he may be trying to join their union). He’s whip-smart, emotionally intuitive, and has mastered the art of cozy lounging. He’s the kind of dog who’ll curl up beside you, tilt his head at your jokes, and make you feel like the most interesting person in the room.
