My story

Hello - I`m quite shy and a little fearful, but everyone is going slowly with me and trying to help me adjust.INSIGHTS FROM MY LOVING FOSTER HOME:`Bayless is still a very shy dog but continues to show zero aggression towards people or dogs. He’s warming up to all of us in the house and will even wag his tail when we come closer to him. He absolutely loves my 3-year-old boxer. He relies on him to help him feel confident about situations and learn how to be a dog. We are currently working on not getting him used to a harness, he is scared of it. He`s been great about using the bathroom outside as we have a fenced in backyard. Bayless loves to run around with my dog and play.He’s done really well given how timid he is with getting bathed. Again he’s shown zero aggression with every step.We tried giving him a crate as an option, we figured he’d really love it since he likes to hide. However, the crate was definitely a traumatic experience for him. It terrified him when we offered it to him. He’s currently sleeping on the couch or bed for night time.I love how his personality is starting to show. He’s a big, goofy dog that loves to sniff and give little kisses. I think Bayless would do extremely well in a house with another dog. He would likely do well in a family with older kids. I think older kids would be best as sometimes the loudness of my younger ones can cause him to retreat.`
