My story

Kelly is a two-year-old, 33-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Life as a stray left her uncertain and wary, and the noisy, crowded environment of the Maricopa County shelter was overwhelming for her. Since arriving at Home Fur Good, Kelly has begun to blossom in the calm, supportive atmosphere. She’s still a gentle soul who appreciates a slow, patient approach. Sit quietly with her, and you may notice her inching closer, curious and hopeful. Once she decides you’re a safe friend, you’ll see the sweet, affectionate side she’s been keeping tucked away. Kelly will thrive in a home where she’s given time to build trust and where kindness and consistency are part of every day. Her adoption fee of $250 includes spay surgery, vaccinations, microchip, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
