My story

Location: Minneapolis, MN Meet Tortuga! 🐾 Tortuga is a sweet, kind-hearted young pup (roughly a year old) who’s ready to find his forever family. At just the right mix of playful and affectionate, Tortuga’s favorite things in the world are playing fetch, squeaky toys, and exploring his surroundings. He’s still young and learning the ropes, which means sometimes he gets a little too excited and may jump up to say hello, his enthusiasm can come with the occasional scratch from his paws. But with a little patience and positive training, Tortuga’s eager-to-please nature will help him master his manners in no time. Tortuga is a champ in his crate (he sometimes barks but will stop quickly if you don’t acknowledge it), a joy to walk on a leash (even with other dogs, depending on their personality), and an excellent passenger for car rides. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a fetch partner, or just a goofy best friend, Tortuga is ready to be right by your side. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will keep you smiling and your toy basket busy, Tortuga is your guy! 💙 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
