My story

Benito is a one-year-old, 25-pound Chihuahua mix who’s still very much a puppy at heart! Though he’s nearing two, Benito is full of youthful energy—he’s all zoomies, wiggles, and enthusiasm. Whether it’s fetch, a splash in the kiddie pool, or a game of tug, Benito is ready for fun. He’s also quite a curious little guy and loves to keep an eye on everything going on around him. Benito is still learning the ropes when it comes to manners. His leash skills are a work in progress, and he’s just starting to learn basic commands. But don’t let that discourage you. He’s an attentive and cooperative pup, eager to learn and please. With a little patience and consistency, Benito will grow into a well-mannered companion. If you're looking for a fun, active dog to share adventures with, Benito might just be your perfect match. Benito’s $250 adoption fee includes neutering, age-appropriate vaccines, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
