My story

Meet Reese – The Mighty Purr Machine Reese is a sleek, short-haired black beauty with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that lights up any room. Known as “Cherry” when she was a kitten because of her bright red collar, Reese may have been the smallest of her litter, but she was the loudest when it came to purring and winning hearts. This sweet girl adores attention and thrives on companionship — whether it’s snuggling up with people, curling close to dogs, or simply soaking in all the love around her. Reese’s affectionate nature and joyful personality make her an absolute delight to be around. Reese and her sister Reena were originally adopted as bonded littermates after being rescued by Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue. Though they were recently returned due to severe allergies in a newborn family member, their bond remains strong. Together, they make a perfect duo — playful, loving, and endlessly loyal — but Reese’s warm heart means she’ll bring joy to any home, whether together with Reena or on her own. At about 3 years old, Reese is still young, playful, and ready to find a family who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. After all she’s been through, she deserves a forever home filled with cuddles, laughter, and love. We have dozens of cats and kittens available! All our adoptable cats are located at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a great way to find your perfect kitty. All of our cats and kittens are socialized and happy to interact with visitors, so you will meet them with their true personalities.
