My story

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING!   ADOPT ME! Hi friends, my name is Iron! I’m a chihuahua mix with a whole lotta love to give. At first, I can be a little shy and skittish, but once I warm up I just want belly rubs, back scratches, and playtime. I’m a sweet, silly, and loving girl who’s ready to find my forever home. I’m crate trained and doing really well with potty training. I don’t know my commands yet, but I’m learning every single day. I also get along with older cats, which is pretty cool if you ask me. Sometimes I play bite when I’m excited (never mean or hard!), so I’d probably do best in a home without tiny kiddos. My perfect home would be with a small family who will love me lots. I’d be happy in an apartment or townhome if we can go to the dog park, or in a home with a little fenced yard where I can run and play. A word from my foster: “Iron is ready to give her final family all of her love, and she’s full of it. She’s sweet, fun, and perfect for someone with a busy lifestyle like mine. I hope you shower her with all the love and attention she deserves!” Adoption FEE: $350 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
