My story

Flex, lovingly called Gus by his foster pawrents, can best be described as a goofy lovebug. This big sweet boy meets every glance with a tiny tail wag and eyes full of love.  Favorite things include: being a couch potato (preferably squished up against you but for solo naps too), pets and praise from his people, treats of all kinds. He has an affectionate, calm, curious and silly personality. Excpect to find him leaning full body weight against you, sleeping with arms straight in the air like Superman, or shadowing your daily tasks.       He is quiet and crate trained. Willingly goes into his crate and only cries on occasion, which lasts less than 5 minutes. Such a good boy! We're working on overcoming fears of going outside, which affects leash manners, keeping potty time outside, and makes for short walks. But we are smart, receptive and getting better every day, bit by bit!  Energy Level: 4/10 Mostly mellow with the occasional zoomie  Good with: People, dogs, his foster bird brother Appetite: Healthy! Treat motivated unless outside. Gus is a special soul with a gentle nature and endless love to give. He's already come so far in one week with his foster fam, with more time and love he is capable of great things! ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2486616##
