My story

Hi! I just arrived! My foster pawrents are getting to know me and will add more info soon.Put Short Bio here: After a week with us I can share the below;  At just 21 pounds, this 2 year-old snugglebug is pure sweetness wrapped in fur. Her soulful big brown eyes will make you feel like the most loved human on Earth. She’s gentle, quiet (rarely barks), and has fit right in with her foster family—including two resident Yorkie “grand dames” who can be a little territorial. She’s been nothing but respectful and kind, proving she’s great with other dogs, even the sassy ones. She’s wee-wee pad trained, making apartment life easy. While she’s still working on leash walking, she learns quickly—she’s already mastered stairs like a pro. Not a foodie, but she has a few guilty pleasures: a little toast with cheese or a bite of grilled chicken, and she’s in heaven. Mostly, she just wants to be near her people, preferably snuggled up close. But perfectly fine in a comfy pillow! :)  If you’re looking for a quiet, loving, and adaptable companion who will melt your heart daily, she’s ready to be your forever best friend. Fill out all below:Personality & Characteristics: super sweet and expressive, goes in circle when you arrive to get your attention. My foster dog is good with: Dogs, Kids & CatsMy foster dog is: House trained, goes stright to her weewee pad, sheds a little.3 Keywords for your pup: snuggler, funny, sweet Energy Level: 3-4 when excited she gets to 7-8 - she doesn't bark! but she gives you a stare that you know she wants something, she also jumps if you are eating bread and walks in her 2 back legs till you give her a piece. Walking Manners: she is learning! she is curious, still a little afraid of harsh noises, wants to go in a lot of directions but she is getting better. Appetite: Not huge, she respects my other dogs plate. She eats hers and carries on. But bread with cheese hits get soft spot :P Favorite Things: she loves to get ear rubs and paw squeezes - she becomes a buble of just love Commands/Tricks: work in progress! She knows NO or Stop, working on everything else but quick learner ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2487029##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Amirite, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
