My story

This adorable little boy is Keats and he's truly the most mellow and sweet guy! He's a small Plott Hound mix who is fully grown at 25 pounds (although he could use a few extra) and just over a year old. As you can see from his photos he has a beautiful brindle coat and does not take a back pic because he's so adorable. We joke that he went to modeling school when he was a baby! Plott Hounds are known for being great family dogs, their loyalty and their intelligence. Keats is living with a wonderful Foster family in New Jersey and his loving personality is shining through. He's loves everyone he meets and gets along great with his Foster doggie sister and is great with cats too. HIs Foster parents says he's so sweet and kind and has a loving personality with a medium energy level (5 out of 10) which makes him so easy to live with. He loves to give love and get love and melts into you when you sit next to him. And...he's quiet and an expert cuddle bug! Keats will be a wonderful member of a loving family who lives in the suburbs and have a fully fenced in yard. He's totally healthy and up to date on all his vaccinations. Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.com or call 516-459-3509) to find out more info on him and see some great videos.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Keats, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
