My story

G'day, mate! My name is Sydney, and I'm a 9 month old dilute tortoiseshell girl. I'm a very chill, calm kitty who likes to be held. I'm sweet and I like to snuggle if you decide to try and pick me up. I am hoping that I get one of those furever friends that the people here at the shelter keep talking about--it sounds so nice to have a person that will love and take care of me, and that I will get to love back!     The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    August 9, 2025, 8:56 pm
