My story

Meet Ava May Cream Puff – Your Sweet, Goofy, Marshmallow-Snuggle Machine 🍡💛 Oh, hello there! My name is Ava—although some friends call me Willow. My official name? Ava May Cream Puff. It’s a mouthful, but I promise I’m just as soft, sweet, and irresistible as it sounds. I’m a 3-year-old spayed French Bulldog, and I’m on the hunt for a forever home where I can share my goofy personality, giant heart, and endless supply of snuggles. I haven’t always known the cushy life of being a beloved pet. I was a mill mama, raising pups without ever really knowing what it meant to be spoiled myself. But let me tell you—those days are behind me, and I am LOVING this new chapter. Every day is a discovery, and I’m blossoming into a confident, joyful, downright hilarious little lady. My Personality I’m the perfect mix of a silly, playful clown and a devoted, affectionate couch buddy. I have a thing for snuggles—seriously, if there were an Olympic event for it, I’d win gold. My favorite spot is pressed up next to you while you rub my bum or scratch my chest. I also have a knack for making people laugh. My foster mom says my goofy facial expressions and wiggly, happy-dance greetings could brighten even the grumpiest day. When it comes to other dogs, I’m a social butterfly. I’ve met pups of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels, and I just seem to click with everyone. My foster brothers—who, according to my mom, are “bulldozer Frenchies”—didn’t intimidate me one bit. In fact, I jumped right into the mix, and we’ve been having full-on WrestleMania matches in the living room ever since. I play fair, I know when to take breaks, and I’m always up for another round. But I’m not all action—I know how to relax, too. When my legs get tired on walks (I am a Frenchie, after all), I happily hop into my stroller for a ride. I love taking in the sights while my humans keep the adventure going. My Day-to-Day My perfect day starts with some morning snuggles, followed by breakfast (served with a side of bum scratches, please). Then I’m ready for a little outdoor time, where I trot around, sniff the fresh air, and see what’s going on in the neighborhood. If there are dog friends around, even better! Midday is for naps, chew toys, or some light wrestling. Evenings are prime cuddle time—whether it’s on the couch, in your lap, or tucked into my cozy crate (which, by the way, I love). What I’m Learning Since I didn’t grow up as a pet, I’m learning the ropes quickly. Potty training? Nailed it—well, almost. In my first four days in foster care, I only had one little accident. I respond so well to praise, so when I go outside on my own and hear a happy “Good girl, Ava!” I feel like I just won the lottery. I’m also learning all the little routines of home life—where the treats are kept, how fun walks can be, and that my foster mom’s lap is always open for me. Why You’ll Fall in Love I’m tiny in size, but my heart is huge. My green eyes sparkle with curiosity and love. My smile? Let’s just say people stop what they’re doing when they see it. And my personality is that rare balance of fun-loving energy and melt-into-your-arms affection. If you adopt me, here’s what you can expect: A devoted little shadow who will follow you from room to room. A built-in playmate for any dog who loves a good wrestle match. A travel companion for walks, stroller rides, or even just hanging out on the porch. A guaranteed mood-booster every single day. I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve never let it dim my spirit. I’m ready to give my whole heart to someone who will cherish me the way I deserve. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, affectionate Frenchie who will make you laugh, keep you company, and love you unconditionally, I think we should meet. Love, Ava May Cream Puff 🐾

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Willow, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
