My story

Meet Rudy - a sweet, happy boy who came to the shelter through no fault of his own and is now looking for someone to give him the love and stability he deserves.This friendly pup charms everyone he meets with his wagging tail and joyful personality. He appears to be housebroken, takes treats gently and already knows “sit” – smart and well-mannered! Rudy enjoys his walks and does great on leash most of the time, but he can get a bit excited and pulls when he sees other dogs. With a little continued leash training, he’ll be an even better walking buddy. Rudy loves playing fetch, and is really good at it! He is treat motivated and loves pets & affection. He has such an adorable face with his underbite and little tongue that often sits out a bit.Rudy recently went on a Dogs Day Out adventure! He enjoyed a tour of Fort McHenry and Canton Waterfront park, where he kept smelling all the smells and got his energy out. He was described as being sweet, loving and energetic. He walked well on leash and showed that he knows commands, including sit and paw. He loved running around and playing with his chew toys that he picked at a pet store during his fun day.Rudy can also be overwhelmed with dog pals, he requests to meet any doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.
