My story

Zane is a little older at 4 months old which is good news for you because he is kennel trained and sleeps through the night, is almost potty trained, has learned basic commands and walks on a leash. Zane currently lives with 2 large older dogs and 2 cats in his foster home. He has learned many behavior lessons from all of them and they get along well. This little guy is smart! He has amazing self-control, listens and really tries to do what you ask of him- a few treats really help the process. Zane will keep you entertained with his antics, sometimes he is nutty and races around the backyard- he especially likes to chase butterflies. After he gets his energy out, this pup is a lap dog and is happy curling up next to his foster family for a nap. In the evenings when he gets tired Zane puts himself to bed in his kenned. Zane has been having all kinds of new experiences, such as being exposed to loud noises, car rides, and meeting new people and needs a little guidence and lots of treats to feel confident. He has been sucessful being kenneled for 5-6 hours a day while his foster mom goes to work. With a little patience and love this special pup will grow into a great companion.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Zane, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
