My story

Ella (born 3/20/2015) is quiet, 13 pounds, housebroken and a real Mix Breed! We were not sure what breed Ella is, so we had her DNA checked and this is what it revealed: Supermutt 37.6%, Chihuahua 26.2, Miniature Pincher 23.4%, Poodle (small) 7.9% and English Cocker Spaniel 4.9%. Ella is really One of A Kind!! Ella enjoys going for her walks and hanging out with you. Ella is not interested in other dogs, but she is interested in people. If you are looking for a pup to be a quiet companion, then Ella is the one! We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site clinic and staff of skilled Veterinarians looks after the health and well-being of every animal here. We also have a great adoption matchmaking team who will gladly take your profile and match you or your pet with just the right cat or dog companion.
