Shepherds and shepherd mixes are incredible companions for the right people — loyal, intelligent, and always ready for adventure. But they’re not a “set it and forget it” kind of dog. They need daily exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training to stay happy and healthy. Rusty would love a home where he can have a “job” — maybe hiking partner, agility star, or champion fetch player. With the right person, he’ll be the dog of a lifetime.
