My story

Hi there, I’m Nxy—and I’m looking for you. I’m about 4 or 5 years old, a German Shepherd/Husky mix with sparkling blue eyes and a heart that’s been waiting far too long. My journey started as a stray in Yuma, where I sat quietly at the Humane Society, hoping each day that my people would walk through the door. They didn’t—but that didn’t stop me from believing. Now I’m staying with the kind folks at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, and I’m told they’re doing their very best to help me find my forever home. One with actual people—because that’s where I truly thrive. I don't belong in a kennel. I belong curled up on the couch next to someone who sees me not just as a rescue dog, but as part of the family. &#226&#156&#168 Here’s what makes me special: I'm spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped—ready to go. I get along well with other dogs. I'm amazing on leash—so walks with me are a breeze. I may not be a puppy, but that means no crazy chewing, no training chaos—just calm companionship. I might even be house-trained! No guarantees, but I know how to be polite. Nobody knows my whole story, but I promise I'm writing a new chapter—and all I need is you. If you’re looking for a dog who gets it—who's grateful, loyal, and ready to love—you’ve found her. My adoption fee has been discounted because I’m a little older, but my heart has never been fuller.
