My story

Little miss Maggie was spotted running alone through traffic on a blistering hot July day; exhausted, thirsty, full of burrs, and desperate for help. After a 20 minute chase, she realized we were there to save her and she crawled right into our arms! Maggie is a young girl who will need a patient and attentive home while she masters good behaviors. She is very intelligent and learns quickly, but can be reactive to new situations and has a possessive streak over her favorite people. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog in the home. Fetch is her favorite activity, followed closely by snuggling. She enjoys being carried around and is still getting used to wearing a collar and walking on a leash. She has no potty issues as long as she goes outside regularly. She will be a loyal, smart, protective, loving addition to the right family! Maggie is a female Miniature Schnauzer/Maltese mix with an estimated date of birth of 2/1/24. She weighs 9 lbs.
