My story

They don`t come any cuter or have more personality than this Border Collie mix girl Lizzie. She arrived as a stray on 8/8 to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. Lizzie weighs 28 pounds and is about 4 months old. Lizzie is “all puppy” with her energy level and behavior. She is very friendly, affectionate and sociable and wants to climb into your lap. I found her to be a delightfully charming little girl with so much potential. Lizzie is a working dog and would not be content in an apartment. She needs the right owners who understand the breed and what kind of home situation she is best suited for. She does walk well on a leash. She is a climber and a jumper and yet that can be corrected. She needs a person or family who will stay committed to her and will give her daily playtime, exercise, and enrichment for her best life ever. Manners training would help her fit in with her family better. You can’t help but smile at that sweet little face and her eager and friendly spirit.
