My story

Meet Peaches! Peaches is a young, vibrant girl we believe to be a Hound x Pointer mix. She came to us after being picked up by animal control, but sadly, no one came to claim her. Because of that, we don’t know much about her past — but we’re getting to know the sweet, playful soul she’s becoming. The shelter environment was overwhelming for her at first, and she felt the need to be on the defensive. But after a couple of weeks, she’s starting to relax, trust, and show her true personality. And let’s just say — this girl loves her toys. Fetch, keep-away, squeaky toys, tug — Peaches has some serious toy game and will happily play for as long as you’re willing. She’s also beginning to enjoy affection from our staff and volunteers, and we can see the potential for her to blossom into a loyal, loving companion with the right family. Peaches will do best in a patient, understanding home that gives her the time and space she needs to fully come out of her shell. In return, she’ll bring endless fun, energy, and love. If you’re looking for a smart, playful dog to grow with, Peaches is ready to meet you.
