Nimbus

My story

Meet the new girlie, Nimbus. She was an unclaimed stray and we don’t know her past (we’re not quite sure we want to know it) but we will give her a future. We’re assuming she’s around 4-5 years old. She is a pitbull mix.We’re going to be honest; she is far too skinny with most of her bones showing. We’re currently working on getting her to a healthy weight. She is deaf from what we (and the vet) can tell. We noticed some weird neurological issues going on because she will tilt her head and walk to the side. It was determined she has some sort of old injury that was likely never treated.She is the happiest dog. Her tail never stops wagging. She loves people. She can live with dogs. When she meets a dog initially, it takes her a few minutes to recognize she is safe due to not being able to hear anything. She will need fed separately due to being extremely hungry. She would do well with kids. No cats for her. She was way too much energy and didn’t hear the cat hissing to back away.We want to finally give Nimbus a fresh start with love and a fully belly!** Nimbus is in our care in Altoona PA. She is available for adoption. Each animal gets microchipped, 4DX tested, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. The adoption fee covers those costs. Her adoption fee is $175. An application must be filled out in order to visit with any dog or cat. They can be found on our website www.centralpahumane.org under the Adopt A Pet tab or at the shelter. Our animals are posted on Facebook and Petfinder when time permits. A Petfinder inquiry is not an application, and they may not be responded to. We can only accept so many applications for each animal. We do adopt out of state, but we cannot hold the animal. **PA Kennel License #1333
