My story

Name: Tori Age: 5 months Gender: Neutered Male Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Beige Weight: 14.5 kg Height (to shoulder): 47 cm Rescue Story: Tori and his two siblings were abandoned in a moving box in an overgrown lot near an apartment construction site. They survived for a week by eating insects and worms until they were finally rescued. Personality with People: Tori has an independent personality and doesn’t demand constant attention or affection. He’s not the type to pester for play, and when meeting new people, he prefers to approach once offered a treat or kindness rather than rushing in. However, it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He gets along especially well with children under 13, happily playing with them, and is comfortable being picked up and held. Personality with Dogs: Tori is friendly and social with other dogs, both familiar and unfamiliar. He enjoys greeting and inviting them to play, whether they are larger, similar in size, or smaller than him. Cats: No direct observations have been made regarding his interactions with cats. Energy Level: Moderate. He enjoys outdoor activities but settles down quietly afterward. Walking Manners: Tori walks well on a leash without pulling. He tends to pause often to sniff around, showing plenty of curiosity about his surroundings. Other Notes: • Shows no food guarding toward people, but because of his strong appetite, he may growl if another dog approaches while he’s eating. • Rarely barks and remains calm in a kennel. • Nervous about getting into a car, so he needs to be lifted in. Once inside, he may drool a little during the ride. • Currently house-trained for both indoor pee pads and outdoor potty. Tori survived a rough start, but his heart is still open.
