Bruno! Spunky Little Guy!

My story

Meet our adorable and spunky little guy named Bruno! Bruno came to our shelter after her owner lost their home and they had no where for Bruno to go. He is about 6.5 years old and he is a really nice boy! We are told Bruno is a mix of Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua. He is a funny little guy with lots of energy who really likes to get attention. Bruno is very much a lap dog and will hop right up on to the couch to sit on your lap. He is fine being picked up and moved around. Bruno walks pretty good on a leash and he is just a happy guy! Bruno is good with other dogs and he tested fine with our cats here. He can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
