UNO – THE OBSERVER, THE THINKER, THE LOVEBUG Available for Foster or Adoption in Illinois Uno is that quietly captivating pup—the one who seems to notice everything, understand more than he lets on, and moves through life with thoughtful intention. At 14 weeks old, Uno is growing into a confident, curious, and emotionally grounded young dog. He’s part of a litter of 7 stunning Border Collie x Husky mix puppies rescued from a shelter, and he’s flourishing in his foster environment. Uno has a calm, chill energy and loves exploring his world with a soft focus and a wagging tail. He plays freely, connects deeply, and loves his people—but he also benefits from boundaries and structure to guide him as he continues learning how to interact with the world. He thrives when paired with a confident dog buddy or guided by humans who lead with gentle clarity. As with many smart, instinctive breeds, Uno is observant and sometimes channels his herding tendencies by tracking smaller animals. Early guidance and positive reinforcement training will help him navigate social situations with grace. With consistent support, he’s absolutely capable of community living (although a nice backyard would be great), and would make a loyal, loving, and balanced companion.
