Pixie Lou (bonded w/ Laci Bear)

My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Holding 3 (Cat Alley):15 Pixie Lou and Laci Bear are bonded best friends and looking for a home together! Laci Bear is a gentle, soulful tortie who happens to be blind, but don’t let that fool you. She navigates her world with confidence and an incredible sense of smell. Laci is extremely food-motivated (watch out for her sneaking Pixie’s leftovers!) and thrives in spaces where furniture stays in familiar spots so she can map things out with ease.  What makes Laci truly unforgettable is her love. When you lie down, she’ll climb up to your chest, nuzzle into your neck, and purr endlessly while giving you the tiniest, sweetest face licks. She’s respectful of your boundaries but so ready to give and receive love. Pixie Lou is the playful firecracker of the two . She’s full of energy, confidence, and curiosity. She LOVES wand toys, crinkle balls, kick sticks, and just about anything she can chase or push around on the floor. She also loves a good cuddle and will purr the minute you reach out to her. She’s also deeply affectionate in her own way. She purrs the instant you pick her up, loud, constant, and immediate, and her body goes completely soft in your arms. She loves sleeping in small spaces like a shelf or box under the bed, in between your arm and body if you’re lucky. Pixie grooms Laci often, and they almost always nap close to each other. Their bond is steady. While they adore playing together, Pixie sometimes has a little more stamina than Laci, and benefits from extra solo play sessions with her human. Laci will quietly opt out when she’s had enough and settle in to a cozy spot. They both love attention, affection, and cozying up together. At night, Laci tends to sleep near her person, or joins Pixie who chooses a soft nook nearby. They’re looking for a loving, stable home together, ideally one that appreciates their differences and the beauty of their bond. Laci doesn’t need “extra” care, just a thoughtful setup and a person who loves deeply. Ready to meet the most loving kittens you’ve ever known?
