My story

Meet Snickers – Your Stripey, Three-Legged Lovebug I’m Snickers — a soft, stripey tabby who proves that resilience is beautiful. I might be missing my front left leg (tripod life!), but you’d never know it by the way I hop, climb, and explore. I’m about three years old, rescued in Modesto after being abandoned at a notorious cat dumping spot. No one came for me… but I’m ready for my forever family. These days, I’m a people cat. In the mornings, I like to sit with my humans and help them start their day. Afternoons are for long, cozy naps — sometimes on the bed, sometimes in the closet (a girl likes options). After work, I’m ready for a bit of play — I enjoy a good string toy chase and my catnip banana — before settling in for evening visits. Late at night, I curl up on the couch for TV time, and when it’s bedtime, I sleep alongside my foster family. At heart, I’m a relaxed companion. I love quiet moments, gentle attention, and simply sharing space with my people. I’ll happily keep you company without demanding constant activity, though I do appreciate a little play to keep life interesting. If you have a calm, patient home and a heart big enough for a brave little tripod tabby, I think we could be perfect for each other. I’m adaptable and would do well in any size home — from a cozy studio to a multi-level house — as long as I have love, safety, and a soft spot to nap.
