My story

Say hello to Pancake—a sweet, confident little pup with a big personality and even bigger paws! Pancake is a 10-week-old, 14 lb Shepherd mix who loves exploring, wrestling with his littermates, and curling up for cozy naps under chairs. He’s already a pupachino fan and will happily tag along on outings with his humans.Pancake is still learning the ropes when it comes to potty training and hasn’t started crate training yet, but he’s smart and eager to learn. He loves other dogs and gets along great with his foster family's resident cat! Pancake loves to make friends, including children ages 2-16.Pancake takes huge jumps when he is playing and pounces like a lion. He also loves tug-o-war, wrestling with all the dogs, and taking a sweet nap under chairs. He would do best with a fenced yard or plenty of daily walks and playtime to burn off his puppy energy.This little guy got his name from his fluffy brown coat and the dollop of white on his tail—just like whipped cream on a pancake. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
