My story

Location: Norwood Young America, MN Dark hair. Blue eyes. Totally devoted. Up for any kind of adventure. Sound like true love? Then come meet Ted! Teddy is as sweet as they come. Within a moment of meeting you he'll want to either climb into your lap for a snuggle or go racing off after whatever toy you brought to play. While Teddy loves people, he has a bit of an unknown past and can startle with sudden movements, especially around his face. Even with this, he never shows any aggression and will just cower and try to hide. He gets along great with the resident 6 year old kid, and would love nothing more than to have a whole family to play with him. Ted enjoys playing with all kinds of toys and is learning to bring the ball back during fetch. He likes tug-o-war, going on walks, and wrestling. Being a young dog/puppy, he has plenty of energy for a day full of fun, and then crashes for a quick puppy nap. Teddy would do well in a home with another confident dog to play with and continue to show him the ropes. He likes to check out the resident cats, but ducks away as soon as they hiss or swipe at him. Teddy is still working on both potty training and kennel training. He settles pretty well in the kennel at night but needs to get up for potty breaks still. He would do well with someone who either works from home or who can check on him throughout the day, as he has a hard time holding his bladder for an entire work day. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
