My story

My original name was Little Boy but then I became a Lover Boy, so my foster mom just calls me LB. I was a skittish, outdoor stray being fed by a nice man when I went missing for three days and then showed back up all wobbly and crying for help. The vet said my liver numbers were off the charts and that I had gotten into something toxic, and my feeder thinks I was intentionally poisoned by a neighbor that had been screaming at me to get off his porch. I dont know why people are so mean; I didnt ask to be abandoned, and I was just trying to fit in. I spent 7 weeks in foster care on medication to heal my liver, and during that time, I decided I really loved lap time and belly rubs. I have lots of opinions and I like to share them all out loud. Sometimes I sleep with my eyes open, and it freaks my foster mom out. Im a very strong boy and may not be a good fit for small children. I have not been around dogs. I get along with some cats, but I dream of a home where I can be the only one who gets all the attention. My foster mom calls me needy, but Im sure there is someone out there who needs my love as much as I need theirs. My ideal person or family would like to sit for long periods of time, watching TV, reading, or playing on their phone so I can just chill on their lap. Im an excellent cuddle bug and need to sleep in the bed with my person; just think of me as a weighted blanket. I have recently discovered toys and will chase bouncy balls, toy mice, and feather wands. I carry with me a souvenir from my past life, FIV, but its not as scary as it sounds, and I can live a long, healthy life. I may need a minute to warm up to someone new, but I will be worth it!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Little Boy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
