My story

Meet Boone, an 8-month-old Blue Heeler with oversized ears, a speckled blue-gray coat, and a brain that’s always one step ahead. He entered the shelter alongside his three siblings, unsure of people and clearly unfamiliar with the gentle world waiting for him. Boone is the thinker of the group—quietly observing, sizing things up, and then surprising you with sudden bursts of playful energy once he feels comfortable. He’s got a soft, curious way about him and a growing love for toys, zoomies, and anything that lets him stretch those clever Heeler instincts. While he’s still warming up to new experiences, Boone is discovering that kindness feels pretty amazing—and he’s learning to lean into it. With a little time and a lot of love, Boone is ready to leave his timid beginnings behind and step into a future full of trust, fun, and forever-family adventures.The adoption fee for this pet is $75.
