Jetty Punch

My story

Jetty Punch is named after Tropical Smoothie Cafe's sweet smoothie! This handsome lad was found in a one-bedroom apartment with 42 other cats. Heartland took in many of the cats, and most have been adopted. Jetty Punch, along with his pal Blueberry Bliss, are the last remaining cats from that group. Jetty is on the shy side, so it takes him a little longer to initiate contact with people. However, he is the ULTIMATE foodie, and we learned the way to his heart. About an hour before feeding time, Jetty Punch will wake up from his nap and will wait at the door for his volunteer friends come to feed him. He is the first in line, in a room full of kitties. He will even let out a raspy little "feed me!" meow if he feels the service is not quick enough. He lives for his wet food! He also loves churros and has a special liking for specific Fancy Feast hand-selected chicken treats. He goes crazy for them, and no other brand can compete. He will become your friend quickly if you offer him his favorite chicken treat. Jetty has settled into Heartland well, and is showing us his sweet, gentle personality. He will allow handling from those who take a little time to build a relationship with first. He even allowed us to dress him up in a Halloween costume! He enjoys being brushed, scratched under the chin, and will roll over happily when he's feeling his best. His favorite toy is the electronic orange ball, and he gets along with all the other cats in the room. He enjoys the cozy parts of life and you can often find him cuddled up with another cat in a warm bed under the bench. We love Jetty! Come meet this sweet foodie, and you will fall right in love. Jetty Punch is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm and Sunday Noon-6pm. Feel free to stop by to meet them! No appointment necessary. Jetty Punch is neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and FIV and FeLV negative.
