My story

Meet Charlotte, a sweet and gentle 3-year-old She-Poo (Shih Tzu/Poodle mix) with a soft heart and a calm spirit. She was part of a large owner surrender and is used to being around other dogs, so having a friendly canine companion in the home would likely help her feel more at ease. Charlotte is a bit shy at first and needs a little time to adjust, but once she feels safe, she’s incredibly loving and affectionate. This tiny, low-energy girl is still getting used to the outside world and is slowly learning how to walk on a leash. She’s doing well with potty training but will need continued support. While the crate isn’t her favorite place, she does settle in with a bit of time. Charlotte is looking for a peaceful home—ideally with a couple or family with older children—where she can snuggle up, feel secure, and continue to blossom.
