Sadly, he lost his longtime home due to medical issues with his human, whom he had been with since he was just six weeks old. Now eight years old and 10 pounds, Tex is hoping to find a loving forever home where he can continue sharing his sweet spirit. Tex is smart, affectionate, and full of life. He enjoys cuddling on the couch, going for short walks, and hanging out with his canine friends. He walks well on a leash and is about 99% housetrained — you’ll often catch him at the door asking to go out. The crate is his safe place, and he’ll happily retreat there when he’s ready for a nap. He’s recently been fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. He gets along with other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets.
