My story

HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org or Carol at cgriglione@arl-iowa.org.---- A serious lap cat, who wants nothing more than to sit on your lap and be near his human family!- Loves to play with toys, and will empty out the toy box every day- Likes to "talk" and fill you in on what's happening in his world! - Will likely take a few days to settle into his new home, as he is initially a shy cat, so please give him all the time he needs to become comfortable in his new home- Is not the best fit for children, so we feel a more mature home that is calm and predictable will be best for him- Has lived with other cats, but will need a very slow introduction to any cats in his new homeAll adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) Primary Color: Black Weight: 14.87 Age: 9yrs 2mths 3wks
