My story

Howard Fostered in Markham, ON • Breed: Russian Blue • Sex: Male • Age: ~3 years old • Weight: 9.25 lbs • Coat: Short, soft grey fur (hypoallergenic-friendly) • Neutered: Yes • Vaccinated: Yes • Microchipped: Yes • FIV/FeLV: Negative • Litter box trained: Yes Say hello to Howard, a 3-year-old Russian Blue with a gentle soul and a curious spirit. Weighing in at 9.25 lbs, this handsome boy is fully vetted—neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative—and ready to find his forever home. Howard is a watchful and cautious companion, preferring to take in the world quietly from a distance. He’s not the super cuddly, in-your-face type, but he’s definitely people-friendly in his own calm and reserved way. While he may not curl up on your lap (yet!), he tolerates being carried and enjoys quiet companionship—especially if it includes a good neck rub. True to his curious nature, anything can become a toy in Howard’s world, and his playful moments are as endearing as they are entertaining. He’s a tidy boy who uses his litter box reliably and would make a wonderful fit for a relaxed, low-key home. Howard would do best with someone who understands that affection, for him, is a slow burn—earned with patience and kindness. Bonus: Russian Blues are known to be great for allergy-sensitive people due to their lower levels of a common allergen (Fel d 1). ⸻ If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, quiet companion with mysterious good looks and a sweet side that reveals itself slowly, Howard might just be the cat for you. Apply to adopt Howard today and help him write his next chapter: https://form.jotform.com/211695648007258 Adoption fee is $500

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Howard, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
