My story

Leah was rescued from the county shelter in the nick of time. She delivered her babies that very night. Leah has raised a litter of 8 puppies and been a wonderful mamma. She now needs a family who will love and cherish her. This wasn't Leah's first litter. She had spent most of her short life as a yard dog, being impregnated by every stray in the area. Winding up at the shelter was probably the best thing that happened to her. Leah is a quiet girl, a little shy of new things and new people, BUT she has the most loving heart. When she trusts you she will meet you with a silly teethy grin a mile wide and a wagging butt. She is beautiful inside and out. Her merle coat and 2 different eyes definitely make her a showstopper. We cannot wait for Leah to find her own family to love and spoil her, to show her what a dog's life should be like. Can that be you? All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Please visit us at www.ittakesavillagerescue.com to see all our petsTo meet a pet an application is first required

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Leah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
