My story

Meet Cosmo! This handsome boy is the total package: sweet, calm, curious, and incredibly cuddly. Cosmo is potty trained and crate trained. He’ll go into his crate on his own when asked (especially if there’s a treat involved!) and sleeps peacefully through the night. He knows “sit” well, is working on “shake,” and is picking up on house manners quickly. He rarely jumps up on new people and handled a recent crowd of guests like a total pro. He walks well on a leash and enjoys following the lead of his canine foster sibling, a 30-pound poodle/bichon mix. While he hasn’t been around small children, he does great with the many teenagers who come and go from the house. In a previous foster home, Cosmo met cats and didn’t mind them, he left them alone and coexisted well. Cosmo loves his people, he’s an expert snuggler and fancies himself a lap dog. He’ll happily curl up next to you on the couch, rest his chin on your shoulder, and fall asleep with his nose smooshed into your cheek. He always wants to be near his humans, if he’s not curled up beside you, he’s probably sitting his butt on your foot or flashing his big puppy eyes to ask for cuddles (or snacks). Inside the house, he’s mostly chill. He loves digging through the toy basket and still has a bit of that puppy curiosity, he occasionally chews things he shouldn’t, but he gives them up easily and is learning quickly. Cosmo will thrive with a family that’s ready to shower him with affection and include him in everyday life. He really loves people and just wants to be close. Plus, did we mention how ridiculously handsome he is? Cosmo is ready to meet his snuggle buddy, could it be you?
