Gungnir (Ginny)

My story

Ginny is the absolute sweetest, gentlest soul around! Ginny came through a local TNR clinic as an 8 week old kitten from a feral colony, with a terribly burst and infected eye that could not be saved. She must have been in so much pain for so long. We're not sure if she had an infection as a young kitten that worsened, if she was injured, or if her problems were something she was born with. Thankfully, her eye was able to be removed, and her recovery with us successful, so Ginny gets to live happily ever after, indoors and safe from ever having to experience that again! We named her Gungnir, after the spear Odin used to sacrifice his eye in Norse mythology. But we call her Ginny for short. Ginny is still a little skittish, maybe from trauma in her past, and would do best in a home without young kids. However, she does great with other kittens and cats, and would love a kitty buddy to help bring her out of her shell! She is reluctant to jump high at this time, because her depth perception isn't very good. Ginny loves to be held and will purr and purr away when she gets picked up. She's also very playful, but definitely a kitten on the chill side right now. Tiny Kitten Coven requires that young kittens are adopted in pairs or to homes that already have a kitty playmate.
